Zazenkai

“The buddhas’ great truth, when perfectly mastered, is liberation and is realization.” ~ Eihei Dogen, Zenki

“Continuous practice that actualizes itself is no other than your continuous practice right now. …your continuous practice of this day is a seed of all buddhas and the practice of all buddhas.” —Master Eihei Dogen

Due to Covid constraints all Zazenkai sessions are currently conducted via the Zoom platform.

Sunday, July 24th, 2022 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

Join together and feel the energy of shared group practice with fellow Two Rivers Zen Community sangha members for Zazenkai on Sunday, July 24th as we engage in the Summer Practice Period. The Zazenkai will be held exclusively via Zoom.

This modified, day-long retreat dedicated to practice in the great silence created by the retreat environment and our group participation, will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m., and will include Fellowship, Zazen, Kinhin (walking meditation), Service, Genzo-e Teaching, Q & A and Council.

Genzo-e Zazenkai is open to full-time participants exclusively. Your registration assumes your commitment to attend the full day.

Zooming Zazenkai fortuitously opens the space for many more to participate.  Please respond via email to indicate that you will participate via Zoom and we will send you the information you’ll need to join the Zazenkai. Participation is limited. Registration will be confirmed on a first respond basis.

This practice day is freely offered to all; however, donations in the spirit of dana are welcome. *(See below)
